Hey, Jude -

One of the things you're doing these days is babbling a lot. You like to "talk" to us and to Duke, to the lights in the bedroom, and to the trees outside. You'll make a sound and we'll respond, you'll say something back, and we'll keep the "conversation" going. When you say something we like to start the conversation by saying, "And what else?" when you babble. You look at us and just talk and talk. It's so much fun!

Daddy & I are eager for you to start saying real words, but we love your baby babble. it's fun for us to interpret what you're talking about.

Grins... not so toothless anymore

Hey, Jude -

You have a tooth! It took until you were almost 10 months old, but you finally got one. It's teensy weensy and just poking up above the surface. You let me feel it and look at it today. You weren't exactly thrilled about it, but you allowed it... albeit reluctantly. It's on the bottom left. I have a feeling more are on the way because you're chewing on everything nonstop. You're also really into crunchier foods now - toast, crackers, apples and pears.
